President / CEO
Alicia Bryant is President of Life Rebuilders, Inc. as well as CEO of Life Rebuilders Management, LLC. Since 2010 Alicia has brought her extensive knowledge and fresh ideas to the company while working closely with Barry Halla, its former President.
Active in the Property Management business since 2004, she’s achieved a number of certifications beginning with the, Rental Occupancy Management by RRHA, and Fair Housing Certification. In 2012, Alicia received several certifications from HUD including, Project-Based Budget Development and Analyst, Core Financial Management Concepts, Internal Controls and Performance Monitoring.
Passing with Distinction, she also received several certifications from the NCHM (National Center for Housing Management) which included, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Site-Based Budgeting Specialist, Certified Manager of Maintenance, Certified Manager of Housing, and Management Occupancy Review Specialist. Once completed, she obtained the designation of Registered Housing Manager.
As President, her desire is to continue providing extremely high-quality housing at exceptionally affordable prices, available to families with low and moderate incomes, and to all senior adults.
Alicia resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is married, and has four children and six grandchildren. She is very active with her family, church, and one of her favorite places to travel to is Destin, FL.. Alicia also serves as the Leader of the Fundraising Committee at The Rock Church of Terrell, and as President of the Terrell High School Theatre Booster Club.
CFO
Joe Barraclough is the CFO at Life Rebuilders. He served as Director of Finance at Seed Company (a Wycliffe Bible Translators affiliate) for five years. He has twenty years of nonprofit financial leadership.
He and his wife Judith are seasoned missionaries who ministered in the slums of Caracas, Venezuela, and in the least-reached areas of the Amazon Rainforest in southern Perú. Pioneer evangelism, church-planting, pastoral guidance, member care, and leadership development were activities that Joe carried out while fulfilling his financial leadership responsibilities.
Joe began his career in public accounting and later served as CFO of two successive nonprofit organizations. He felt the tug of God’s call to transplant his family to South America in 2002 where they served until 2013.
Joe and his wife, Judith, are the parents of seven children and reside in Nampa, Idaho. Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas Arlington, and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Liberty University.
Accounting Generalist
Angela McFarland is the Accounting Generalist and Payroll Coordinator at Life Rebuilders, Inc. She joined LRI in March 2019 with 10 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and general accounting. Her career began in HOA management where she spent 4 years in Accounts Receivable managing the Cash Receipts team. Since then, she has worked in the manufacturing industry in all positions of accounting.
Angela lives in the Terrell area with her husband, Phillip, and children. She is actively involved with her church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
The Barry Halla Memorial Golf Tournament is set up to raise funds to research colon and peritoneal cancers. The first annual tournament will be held in March of 2020.
